The vineyards are at their greenest between June and October. Many wine festivals dot August’s calendar, marking the start of the harvest season.

Getting there

  • Planes

    Tijuana International Airport is a 90-minute drive from Valle de Guadalupe; over the border, San Diego International Airport is two hours away by car.

  • Automobiles

    Valle de Guadalupe is a scenic two-hour drive south from San Diego. It’s easy to cross the border at Tijuana, but plan ahead to avoid queuing traffic and check that your car hire allows travel into Mexico. Taxis and drivers are easily arranged to ferry you between wine tastings safely.
