Our favourite rooms
At Blind Tiger Portland – Danforth Street, you can dig your claws into a mix of mid-century furnishings, local artwork and original features – a one-of-a-kind aesthetic that is best swooned over in the bedrooms. We’ve got our eye on Baxter for its broad bay windows and regal four-poster bed; Event Records for its John Calvin Stevens architectural credentials, and Bon Viveur for its private furnished terrace that overlooks the leafy neighborhood. Plus, you’ll find a working fireplace in each of the nine rooms.
Spa
There’s no spa at this townhouse stay, but Blind Tiger Portland – Danforth Street can arrange sauna blankets and in-room massages with advance notice.
Packing tips
An appetite for all things culinary and cultural – Portland is a city with plenty of social appeal.
Also
Portland has more than one Blind Tiger, thanks to Danforth Street’s sister stay around the corner, Blind Tiger – Carleton Street.
Children
Welcome, but as there’s no specific kit or rollaway beds, this guesthouse is better suited to older children who can sleep in their own room. The exception is the Bon Viveur room, which accommodates an extra two guests on a sofa-bed for $50 each a night.
