More details

Also
The hotel is a converted gondola station – you can’t get much more ski-in, ski-out than that.
Hotel closed
The hotel closes annually from Easter weekend to the Feast of the Ascension and again from the end of October to Mid-December.
At the hotel
Free WiFi throughout, treatment room, steam room, infra-red booth and sauna. In rooms: TV and DVD player, free bottled water, minibar, sunhats and the hotel’s own-brand bath products.
Our favourite rooms
Every room is clad in locally sourced oak and has large picture windows (even the bathrooms) – it’s all about the views here. If you’re travelling with little Smiths or you’d simply like some extra space, spring for one of the Junior Suites.
Poolside
The outdoor pool is heated to a balmy 35 degrees and is perched on the ski slopes for sweeping views of the southern Alps with each dip. It’s family-friendly too, but may be a bit toasty for some little ones.
Spa
Mountain-top massage, anyone? Head to the hotel’s treatment room for tension-detangling sessions. There’s also a wellness area with a steam room, infra-red booth and sauna.
Packing tips
Bring snow boots in winter, hiking boots in warmer months – you won’t want to miss any chance for outdoor adventures.
Also
One Deluxe Corner Room and one Valley Superior Room are specially adapted for wheelchair users.
Children
Welcome. There’s an unsupervised play room stocked with Lego, games and a big screen, the pool is family-friendly and Junior Suites have a sofa bed that can sleep up to two children.
Sustainability efforts
The hotel’s 50sq m of solar panels heat the property’s water, 200sq m of photovoltaic panels produce electricity, eco-friendly insulation and locally sourced oak and stone were used in construction, bath products are organic and made with local plants, and ingredients for the restaurant are sourced exclusively from the Valais.
