Featuring original memorabilia from the artist, the room has a private plunge pool, outdoor dining pavilion, veranda, secluded garden and beautiful outdoor bath. Original Spies items on display include his camera, paintings and letters.

Inspired by the passionate love story between a Belgian painter and a Legong dancer in Thirties Bali, the Puri Le Mayeur villa has a spacious, red-canopied living room, a romantic bedroom, semi-outdoor bath tub, plunge pool and a lotus pond-facing veranda. Spanning over 200sq m and set over a pretty lotus pond with views of the tropical garden, the villa is connected by a bridge to an intimate private dining hut for two, lit only by torches and candles. Decor includes original pieces inherited from the couple and hand-crafted carvings.
