Be woken by the sound of lapping waves in these elegantly styled Balinese villas (84sq m), set in the forest, just a sashay from the ocean. These are the only villas in the resort to have a private plunge pool (albeit a petite one) from which guests can watch the local deer graze. The centrepiece veiled four-poster bed is surrounded by local tchotchkes – bronze statuettes, painted panels and antiques – and the open-air bathroom has a large stone bath tub set amid trees and an alfresco shower.
