Our favourite rooms
For a silent view of the jungle and the chance to befriend cute coatis, book a Suite Deluxe and enjoy the prime position for sunsets and net-based naps.
Poolside
The jungle-shaded pool (one of the biggest in Tulum, no less) is lined by decking, lounge chairs and straw parasols. Guests can swim in it between 8am and 9pm.
Spa
The whole place has such sanctum vibes that they almost needn’t have bothered with a spa – but you’ll be glad they did, especially if you sign up for a clay or cacao wrap, a bee-venom face mask or a balancing massage. You’ll also be able to book pre-Hispanic sound-healing sessions, a midnight couple’s massage to harness lunar energy and two-hour mud rituals.
Packing tips
Save suitcase space by leaving your beach bag behind and using the crochet one – already helpfully loaded with swim towels – in your room instead.
Also
Spa treatments can be taken in your room or terrace, if you prefer.
Children
This stay is for over-18s only.
Sustainability efforts
Guests are encouraged to only use air-conditioning between 6pm to 9am and to turn off lights. At least 80 per cent of the food is sourced from the state, and there are no plastic miniatures or straws. The hotel is a signatory to the Tulum Pledge, which aims to protect and preserve the region’s beaches and barrier reefs.
