Georgiana Huddart has life-giving powers. For those who remember Julia Roberts’ Pretty Woman wardrobe with fondness, Huddart’s revival of 1980s brand Hunza G is indeed miraculous, especially as its unique crinkle fabric creates genuine one-size-fits-all results, and it is run with sustainability front and centre.

Now creative director of the swim-and-leisurewear label — whose fans include Rihanna and Dua Lipa — Huddart clearly has an eye for the Next Big Thing, so we quizzed her on where to travel, shop and eat, plus her worst holiday hangover and guilty pleasures…

Top packing tip
I am terrible at packing — I take way too much with me. I like to have everything, even a mini speaker and candle, so maybe my tip is not to pack like I do.

Your must-pack outfit
Jeans, a tank top and a leather jacket.

Your airport look
Generally all black, loose clothes and sunglasses — essentially I dress like Leonardo DiCaprio.

Essential accessory
My handbag (by Prada or Fendi, always).

Window or aisle seat
Window.

Cabin-bag essential
My headphones and lip balm.

Strangest hotel experience
I bumped into one of my best friends in India once in a hotel. We were both quite young and didn’t have any money, so it felt really crazy to bump into a friend on the other side of the world.

Go-to treatment at the hotel spa
A facial. I’m obsessed with them.

Best place you’ve ever gone swimming
Ibiza or Cornwall.

Best beach you’ve ever found
Back when the north of Ibiza wasn’t filled with people, when I was 24, I went to a beach called Xuclar with a load of friends and my boyfriend, and we swam round a cove and ate gambas on the beach — it was pretty magical.

Most regrettable holiday purchase
Weird clothes when I was pregnant, wherever I went on a trip. I think that happens when you’re pregnant — you can lose all perspective on who you are and what you like because your body, brain and life is in such a state of change, so you start experimenting. A lot of funny patterned frumpy things that I thought might be chic have gone to the charity shop.

Worst holiday hangover
There have been too many to keep track of.

Most stylish city
Rome.

City you’d move to
I love London, but if I had to move, Paris.

Favourite gallery
MoMA in New York.

Book that shaped you
I read Dodie Smith’s I Capture the Castle when I was young and I really loved it.

Quote to live by
Life’s short, make sure you live it. But also life’s long, so don’t be an idiot.

Favourite artist
Rubens was pretty great.

Accent or language that turns you on
The Irish accent and Italian language.

Favourite bar
The Cow in Notting Hill or the Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel in LA.

Favourite cocktail
Vodka martini.

Guilty pleasure treat
A Big Mac.

Most memorable meal
At Scott’s in Mayfair with my dad on my 18th birthday.

Best vintage or antique find
I don’t wear vintage clothes because I am six foot three and nothing ever fits. As for antiques, I have a huge, 400-year-old mirror that’s amazing from Kempton Park antiques market.

Architecture that awes you
Everything is beautiful in Rome, the painted ceilings, the carved stone. All of it is mind-blowing.

Homewares you hunt while travelling
I collect trinkets like a little old granny. I love anything small and souvenir-esque: little marbleised dishes, spoons with crystals on the end…

Your design inspiration
I love Italy. I want my home to look like the set of Call Me By Your Name, Stealing Beauty… Italian palazzo is my vibe.

Interiors account to follow
[Interior designer] @michaelbargo.

It’s not a holiday without…
Cocktails and swimming. I love swimming.

Next holiday destination
Ibiza, half for holiday, half for work.
